{"id":5056,"date":"2023-11-21T09:34:52","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T09:34:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionparentes.org\/?p=5056"},"modified":"2024-12-17T11:36:59","modified_gmt":"2024-12-17T11:36:59","slug":"arenales-parentes-educational-foundation-takes-over-the-compania-de-maria-and-lestonnac-schools-in-ferrol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacionparentes.org\/en\/arenales-parentes-educational-foundation-takes-over-the-compania-de-maria-and-lestonnac-schools-in-ferrol\/","title":{"rendered":"Arenales Parentes Educational Foundation takes over the Compa\u00f1ia de Mar\u00eda and Lestonnac Schools in Ferrol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through a public notarial deed, the change of ownership of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ciamariaferrol.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Compa\u00f1ia de Mar\u00eda School<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/lestonnacferrol.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lestonnac School<\/a> has been formalized, integrating them into the Arenales Parentes Educational Foundation, established by the Arenales Foundation and Parentes Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both schools, located in Ferrol, Galicia, were <strong>founded by the religious of the Compa\u00f1ia de Mar\u00eda over a century ago<\/strong>. Since the beginning of 2023, a period of collaboration between the management and the teaching staff of these schools and the Arenales Parentes Educational Foundation was initiated, ultimately completing the change of ownership in the 2023-2024 academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over these years, both the <a href=\"https:\/\/arenalesrededucativa.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arenales Educational Network<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionparentes.org\/\">Parentes Foundation<\/a> have signed various agreements with Catholic institutions to <strong>ensure the continuity of the mission with which these educational centers were created<\/strong>. This mission aligns with the Foundation&#8217;s purpose: to provide students with a quality education based on Christian identity, personal attention, educational innovation, and academic excellence, fostering family involvement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, the schools offer education in the Infant, Primary, and Secondary stages. At present, they have a total of 856 students and 97 staff members, including teaching and non-teaching staff.
