Educational Entities

The Parentes International Educational Network, an integral part of the Parentes Foundation, is dedicated to promoting educational, scientific and cultural projects that contribute to the education of young people. With the backing of the prestigious PROEDUCA Group, the Network supports more than 40 educational institutions around the world.

The assistance provided ranges from advice and training, in various aspects, to the complete management of the institution and the option of becoming part of the Network as its own or associated centre. Currently, the Network has 11 centres of its own in countries such as the Czech Republic, Croatia, Lithuania, Sweden, Ecuador, the United Kingdom, Spain and Sweden. In these centres, a unique methodology and management system is implemented, which is a model to be followed by the other institutions supported by the Network.

CONSULTANCY AND ADVICE
IN EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT

The Parentes Foundation, faithful to its founding principles, allocates each year through its International Educational Network, a budget item in order to support the different educational institutions that request it. The strategic consultancy for each centre is adapted to its needs, always taking into account the local context in which it is inserted and those aspects related to the viability or improvement of its educational project. To request this collaboration, the centre must fill in the following questionnaire. Once completed, send it by e-mail to colegios@fundacionparentes.org or by post to C/ Zurbano, 73. 28010 Madrid. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

TRAINING

At the Parentes Foundation we are convinced of the transformative power of education and for this reason we have been promoting various training projects with different contents and formats over the last few years.

Most of our courses are aimed at better training teachers and school managers. In other words, to train trainers better. In this way, we aim to achieve a multiplier effect and, by improving the training of teachers, we contribute to improving the quality of education received by pupils.

Our most successful training project is the Online Course on Good Teaching Practice. However, we also offer other similar courses in educational management or character education.

Online Course on Good Teaching Practices

This is a comprehensive online course taught by experienced teachers from schools with a long track record. Throughout the course, in one-hour sessions, they share with participants their best practices in various areas of the teaching profession: how to teach a class, the rights and obligations of students, academic planning, dealing with families, tutoring and counselling students, assessment methods, etc.

Through case studies, quizzes and assignments, participants gain insight into how to be a better teacher and get practical ideas to apply in their schools.

The format of the course is as follows:

● 21 online sessions (synchronous)
● 6 months duration (February-July)
● CANVAS educational platform
● Weekly assignments and tests
● End-of-course work

The course is fully funded by the Parentes Foundation and is therefore free of charge. In addition, through the existing agreement with the UNIR, participants who successfully complete the course receive a degree from the UNIR.

PROCESS STANDARDISATION

It is possible to manage an educational centre successfully. Often the secret lies in knowing how to standardise the school’s processes and thus, by gaining efficiency, being able to allocate more resources to the heart of the business, which is educational quality.

We help you to efficiently manage your educational centre

The Parentes Foundation has an educational network of schools in several countries. This experience in the corporate management of educational centres has helped us to identify those processes that guarantee good management. These processes cover all areas of management that the management of an educational centre has to deal with. Some of these processes are:

Good governance:

Governance structure. Mission and functions. Dynamics of meetings.

The educational project:

Ideology. Training in competences. Human formation and values. Cultural and artistic sensitivity.

Economic management:

Budgetary management. Debt and Treasury. Purchases and investments. Collections and non-payments. Discounts and grants.

Service management:

Cleaning. Canteen. Medical services. Maintenance. School material. Extracurricular services.

Marketing and Communication Management:

Corporate image. Communication actions. Promotion.

Personnel management:

Recruitment process. Performance evaluation. Teacher training.
