Through a public notarial deed, the change of ownership of the Compañia de María School and the Lestonnac School has been formalized, integrating them into the Arenales Parentes Educational Foundation, established by the Arenales Foundation and Parentes Foundation.

Both schools, located in Ferrol, Galicia, were founded by the religious of the Compañia de María over a century ago. Since the beginning of 2023, a period of collaboration between the management and the teaching staff of these schools and the Arenales Parentes Educational Foundation was initiated, ultimately completing the change of ownership in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Over these years, both the Arenales Educational Network and Parentes Foundation have signed various agreements with Catholic institutions to ensure the continuity of the mission with which these educational centers were created. This mission aligns with the Foundation’s purpose: to provide students with a quality education based on Christian identity, personal attention, educational innovation, and academic excellence, fostering family involvement.

Currently, the schools offer education in the Infant, Primary, and Secondary stages. At present, they have a total of 856 students and 97 staff members, including teaching and non-teaching staff. The Arenales Parentes Educational Foundation will make new educational programs and resources available to these schools, along with the experience and benefits of collaboration within the network of institutions comprising both the Arenales Educational Network and Parentes International Educational Network.

With the publication of this notarial deed, a new stage of collaboration and synergies begins between the Arenales Educational Network and Parentes Foundation, two institutions that share the mission of transforming future society through education and collaborative work.
